My subject matter varies greatly, but common themes include fish, birds, wild grasses, tiny things of any sort, strange animals, re-representations of old photos, and pretty much anything with interesting shapes and shadows, whether it's a woollybear or a weed.  I paint primarily with oils, but often use acrylic and ink (and/or sometimes watercolors) for more illustrative work.
